Do You Prefer Agency or Indy Companions

I find myself being an agency guy because I find the prices reasonable and usually the good agencies stand behind the services if the session were to go bad if it's not the client's fault.

I'd love to hear the pro's and con's of both from experienced hobbyist and ladies as well.

I'd like to address these two comments-
-yes most agencies will stand behind their services if the client *didn't* cause the issue at hand, but so will independents-professional one's that is. Anyone that respects others and their business is going to want to make any negative situation right. But in this business we do get a lot of "guys" who'll complain about anything and everything and no matter how much you try and please some, it's never going to be enough.So a positive outcome sometimes is unreachable even for the most experienced, patient and responsible agencies or indies.It takes two to make things go right and generally it'll take two to make them go wrong. It's never easy deciphering those negative situations
-220hr or less- it appears, if I'm interpreting this post correctly, that as long as the price is right he'll go anywhere with anyone, lol. This type of client isn't looking for a connection, or chemistry, obviously. I find those guys who price shop also the ones most likely to complain about something they don't get, didn't expect or something that happens....Keep in mind I have years of experience as an agency owner and indy.

I prefer Indi experiences that are priced at agency levels. The best of both worlds.

I prefer Indy lady's. I have a few Indy regulars I see quite often. I know they put a lot of work into building and managing thier business.
I have also seen quite a few agency lady's and had a good time with a few of them, but I feel bad for them having to give away a good potion of what I'm paying. I realize what's behind the agency fee, so don't jump on me with justifications, but agencies exist to make a profit, and I'd rather the lady make the profit.
Hearing from the lady's I've met, some like working for agencies for protection, or for convienience, certainly less hassle .
Butalso hearing from the Indy ladies I know, they like the freedom and even the sense of accomplishment being successful managing thier own bookings, screenings, schedule, website etc.

I've also noticed lady's helping each other, even celebrating when an agency girl becomes independent.
i don't think agencies like it when thier girls quit and go independent, now thier competing, so I see how that could be a source of friction. Agencies have become a kind of gateway, even a training ground, for new talent that might progress into being independant.

Very good points for both sides.

I don't believe the shopper is a bad client by any means. Many veterans know they do not need to pay more than $250 to attain a very good outcome.

If one pays even $220.00 an hour, walks in and is respectful, clean and a decent gentleman he will still have a connection 9 tiimes out of ten. Fee does not make for a connection nor guarantee quality service if the client is a schmuck or the SP is having an off day.

Ladies can always charge what they feel they are worth and we should never negotiate the price but we always have the right to choose who we book for whatever reason, price, looks, convenience.

Indy's have shown/proven their business acumen, their independent thought and spirit. To me way more attractive than looks.

Not saying none of the agency girls don't have it.

If you want to get good value for dollar when you see SP's, you should see ones who are happy in their work situation.

Some girls are better suited for Agency work, some for operating as Indy, some can do both simultaneously.

As long they're happy, and you're happy, then we're all happy.
