...a girl puts on a shirt or robe over nothing and then in the next shot she has a bra on?

Don't they hire people to make sure that continuity like that is not fucked up?

Or how about when in one scene when a character gets soaking wet but in the next they are dry.

what I hate more than that is when, after they've supposedly fucked their brains out all night long, had their tongues in all sorts of places, the chick is all shy and demure and covers up everything while moving around in bed.....I mean, that is just stupid.

That's one thing that's great about boardwalk empire. When they're done fucking, they don't act any different, they let it all hang out.

Lol yep discontinuity like that is annoying cuz it shows they don't care enough and probably think the viewers are so dumb that they wouldn't notice and it's not worth it to go back and re-shoot.
This reminds me of something I've been curious about forever...y'know in movies and tv when characters get out of the shower or pool soaking wet and then put a robe on right away or get dressed without first drying off without hesitation.... it looks like a sexy notion but do people actually do that? Am I the only person who thinks that would be incredibly annoying and icky? I'd love to know.

Haha I do have to admit I have moments of shyness and insecurity immediately after sex but never after being in bed with a person all night long. And ya, I still wouldn't cover everything up while still IN BED! That's ridiculous.

I totally agree with you. It is plain stupid

I've had to get dressed quickly after coming out of a pool/lake/shower and it is icky lol

As for being shy afterwards, I can understand that. But I bet you don't lock the sheet over your boobs and put a death grip on it. I also bet when you get up to have a P or to get dressed you don't drag the sheet with you....I mean, WHO does that??? I mean, the common sense thing would be to say: could you close your eyes while I.... or something like that. Or if they MUST film it, just have them get out of bed off camera.

What really ticks me off is like that Jennifer Aniston scene in the "break up" when she walks down the hall naked. In North America, they didn't show her butt but everywhere else? Whoop there it is. Or in the Star Trek: Enterprise scene where Trip is giving T'Pol a massage. They cut away her butt when she stood up but elsewhere? whoop there it is....I mean are americans that prudish they can't stand to see a little bum shot of 2 gorgeous ladies?

lol good to know!

And nope I don't do that with the sheets, that's mega-super dumb. Nothing cute or sexy about that in reality or on film.

I haven't seen either of those particular shots but I understand the general statement you're making. Perhaps they're afraid people will suddenly have an urge to perform sodomy and y'know 'That's wrooooong!!' LMAO

That drives me nuts, worst part is they keep doing it in almost all movies.

I just watched a movie called Chloe with Julianne Moore, Amanda Serfried and Liam Neeson. I have to admit, it was pretty realistic when it came to the sex scenes. No false modesty there. Especially when Amanda Seyfriend and Julianne Moore where getting it on.......

I have to hand it to the both of them, it was VERY realistic.

The way I figure it: if you don't want to show your boobs or ass in a post sex bedroom scene, either don't do the scene or don't do the movie.........

Julianne Moore can just flat out act. My ex wife used to tape as The World Turns in the late 80's and she was in it. You could tell even then that there was something different about her. Not afraid to get naked if the role demands it. The director of Boogie Nights once said that not too many actresses can do bad porn acting.

Amanda Sefreid has great potential as well. She caught my eye in Big Love although they never really did much with her character focusing more on the wives.
