Please include family lawyers in this thread. I'm currently at $54000.00 in retainer fees and this doesn't include my ex partners costs. It's ludicrous at the costs involved in lawyer fees to get a divorce.

I hope you don't mind my asking, and tell me to mind my own business if you don't want to talk about it, but do you think you would have eventually ended up in divorce for other reasons if you hadn't stumbled upon HUBGFE, or was your fascination with the industry the main reason for your breakup?

To be honest it started to go downhill when I went into the massage parlor, Albeit no sexual activity took place this did place great doubt in my partner's mind. In hindsight I should have asked Ida to join me for the massage and actually be in the room. This doubt brought on great mistrust. She had started to go through my history on my computer and phone. Questioning every strange number, websites etc....I did browse through seekingarrangments but more to compare if this was the same as this forum and this caused great turmoil. In the end, I now realize I was the cause of my marriage failing.

Lawyers become lawyers for the money, not for any sense of social justice or defending the poor. At least the vast majority, anyway. Quacks are not always any better, by the way.

A visit or ten to MPs will not lead to a divorce...there's much more to it than that. You can blame yourself, as you are doing, but there's two (or more) in the picture.
