Reports are coming in now that there is some property damage to homes and buildings around the National Capital, but no injuries. Some people are trapped in elevators.

Questions are being asked if it caused a Tsunami at the 'fake lake'?

no pipes bursting or injuries is pretty good ,

fires also usually follow earthquakes due to gas lines breaking , so far we had a successful earthquake as cp24 hasnt reported anything of the sort yet.

I felt it, my bed was shaking, but we were done having fun. Didn't realize that it was an earthquake till I saw it on the news. My friends in London area felt it as well. Thankfully no one was hurt.

I heard dust fell from the ceilings on Parliament Hill and there are cracks in the walls of Centre Block.

Ottawa City Hall had windows break.

Looks like there was damage throughout the region, but I still haven't heard of anyone being hurt, thankfully.

I felt the rumbling and heard the roar, but it was just the troops from CFB Borden bringing the tanks in for the G20!

I was taking a nap in my lazy boy chair when it started moving up and down ... at first I thought all those years of smoking, over eating and drinking to excess had caught up to me and I was having a minor stroke ... I was relieved to see that my cat was as farked up about the situation as I was. Thank god it was only and earthquake.
