So what do you hope the day has in store for you
If you still have your dad, what gift/s will you be buying?
If you're father has passed, my condolences.....do you do anything in memory of him? My father loved lobster, so on that day I buy some, regretfully though, as I'm not comfortable with the boiling alive, as you've probably guessed, yet for him I'd have done just about anything

Haven't seen my father in 3 years, haven't spoken in 2 years.

I think he is in Cuba right now. Either married or with a 'friend'.

Good thing is that he bought 2 properties there through his friend. When the laws open up, he will take posession, then the Americans will buy his property for 50 times what he paid for it.

Then, when he passes, I will be willed his fortune.

Then, I will spend it on hookers.

I hope my daughter will take me out for dinner, or do a BBQ or something.
But really, our special day, we always do lunch or dinner, is Nov.11, the day I got custody, had to rescue her from a crazy mother.

but I also have another daughter in Texas, I rarely see or hear from, I send Christmas and birthday presents and wishes, so I hope to hear from her on Father's Day. She hasn't even emailed or text or nothing for the last few years.

i also have 2 stepdaughters, but separated from thier mother, I don't hear from them very often. Hope they remember me on Father's Day.
Of course, I'll go for a session with one of my favorites :kiss:

My dad passed away 10 years ago. Not a day goes by I don't think of him. Not a father's day goes by I don't play his favorite music, raise a few glasses to him, and miss him even more.

When I visit my home town I go to the lake where my dad's ashes were spread and share a drink with him. When I finally join my sweet wife in her urn I hope our children will spread some of our ashes in the lake with him.
