Who is a Father here. Trying to figure out what to buy my 62 year old one. He is not into any sports at all and just likes to watch TV all day. Retired last year and does like to travel but has it all.

Ideas?.

What are you buying your dad?

my dad has passed
with that in mind you might want to give a gift of time

Take him out for the day and golf, see a show, watch some strippers, have a few beers, get him laid

I've got a great idea, rent him this

and a Viagra pill. You will be his favorite offspring guaranteed!

I second that. And don't wait only for Father's day to do it.

Suck it up and tell him that you love and respect him. We don't need no farking material gifts.

What he said.

Spend the whole day with him and let him talk away. Talk about the good old days.

My father has passed......

I miss him.....He was a very funny man, smart and very caring
to others....

I would hug him, kiss his cheeked, beg him to cook
me a meal...I miss his cooking, smile....

If he's stuck in front of the TV, buy him something he may like to watch. Depending on his taste, a complete boxed set of his favorite series. Or a bunch of videos from BBC Canada.

Six years ago my father died. I miss him every day. There's so much I wish I had said...

McGuinty...say it now, while you can. Regret is a miserable thing...

To all those that lost their father. Cherish your children as you may never know when you will be next.

I try very hard.

Keep up the good ideas guys. The trolls can bite my ass :biggrin2:

I give my father the thing he desires most in life at this point in time. Time with is grand children.

I'm a newer dad. All I would want for Father's Day is some peace and quiet. I haven't had that in 4 years!

that is why you get a house with a garage and if you are truly blessed you have a shed too

all kidding aside enjoy the insanity of life now. Because before you know it your kids have families of their own.
And you will see these days through your father's eyes
