With the sunny weather today and the warm temps during the daytime over last couple days... I finally had a chance to take my TREK out for a spin on the Grand River and Speed River trails!

I skipped out of work this afternoon, and took in a 46 km ride! :great:

It was a bit muddy still in a few places, but mountain bikes are kinda sposed to get a little muddy every once in awhile. :)

I hear its going up to 18 degrees on Sunday! What are you all going to do with this long awaited spring weather!

Good for you.

Now have a beer.

I gave up on beer almost 5 years ago, but I'll have a scotch or 3 this evening. :)

Wow, how long did it take you.

Just under 2 hrs today. :arf: (I'm not up to full speed this being only the 5th time out this spring. Plus the muddy trails slow me down as well... Mid summer, that ride is about 1 1/2 hrs.)

Bet you are too tired for the wife now. Need some help? :bad:

I'll be sitting in a dank basement with a bunch of other guys as we conduct our annual NHL Playoff Hockey Draft.
There will be vast quantities of alcohol consumed. :drunk:

who are you rooting for....I cant root for anyone except for the Leafs....just can't....

Cool CG good for you!
This weekend I'm gonna attack my yard and try and put my basketball hoop thingie together.

IF the temps actually occur (the weather predictors have had a zero accuracy rate lately) I really can't do anything in my yard because I've still got TWO FRICKEN FEET OF SNOW on it.....though the open patches are slowly getting bigger each day....

If it does melt a little more, there's a couple of dead trees along my drive that are just waiting to fall down one night and prevent me from getting in or out (or landing on my truck). I'll take the one whose top already fell off last fall.....cut it up for firewood.
