...Broke the 180lb wall. Been floating at 181-183 for the past month. Today, 179.8!

Id go out and get laid.. But we all know how well that goes.

Well time for breakfast and off to the gym.

all depends on your height

if you are 48 inches and 180 you are fat

but if you are 72 inches and 180 you are sickly

Analme, IIRC, somewhere around 260-280lbs, & 44" waist...under the gut.

Papa, 68". So I still have padding.

5'8' at 180 all you need is a bit of training to have a 12 pack

I know most guys want a 6 pack but anyone can have that

Good for you Dave, now let's crack the 175 mark. You have 2 weeks to do it,

Good luck.

Dont know about that, T. Getting under 185 wasn't bad, but 180 was tough. Plus Sunday is generally my 'light day', in that it's at the end of my diet week

Good for you Dave......:clapping:
Don't stop keep it up.....

Well done Dave. I'm assuming at this weight you must be starting to get ripped?

What type of exercises and what foods did you eat?.

Paleo type diet, so lots of fruit, veggies and meat. Almost no dairy, just some greek yogurt with fruit.

For exercise, well....Running, kickboxing, shadow boxing, previously endurance weight lifting, currently power oriented weight lifting, weight lifting based cardio circuit (read pick 3-4 exercises and cycle them for 20-30 minutes without rest), 20-30 minute interval sprints/jogs, lamp post sprints (sprinting from one lamp post to the next per block on my run home).

To give you some examples of my cardio circuits....Body weight based 25 butt to heel squats, 10 4 count jumping jacks, 10 burpees, 10 4 count jumping jacks, 10 divebombers, rinse and repeat. Barbell based one: 10 dead lifts, 10 inverted rows, 20 spiderman push ups, 10 thai knees per side, rinse and repeat. The worst I think I've done was 10 dead lifts, 10 sumo dead lifts, 10 stiff legged dead lifts, 20 pushups, repeat. When you're doing push ups and thinking "thank god for the rest".....

Almost forgot, my work is quite physical as well. I pretty much flip 50lb bags onto my shoulders like they're nothing now.

And you want funny, you should see me doing pogos after calf exercises.

Wow!! Don't bother worrying about the scales .. muscle weighs more than fat.. and by the sounds of it you are building a shit load of muscle..
Good for you !!!!

That's what a lot of people have to remember - the number on the scale is not necessarily a good indicator of weight loss because if you gain muscle you might weigh more. That's why I think 'weigh-ins' like on The Biggest Loser are silly.

I'm also trying to lose a bit of weight. I was 115 lbs. (I'm 5'1 and small-boned so that's a lot for me). I got stuck around the 110 lb. mark but today I am down to 109 lbs. :-) Don't want to lose too much... 3 or 4 more pounds. Good luck Dave!
