Sadly sometimes it is the way of the educated as well.

do not confuse education on paper with an education.

Remember those who can do and those who can not teach

Punishing someone for bettering themselves and not giving them a true second chance to succeed is shameful.

Of course it is but on the other hand the girls who get into porn surely have to realize the stigma that carries with them for the rest of their lives.

The Street Light Support Services seems to be a non-profit org, that has existed since 1997. Are you saying that the govt will be setting up similar programs?

Yup that is where they want the $20M to go to. programs like these and Street outreach services and sex trade 101 and any of the christian based programs who claims to help sex workers. most of them are only focusing on street based workers. they can't really handle the indoor worker.

Have to agree with you on this point, Baz.

That stigma is a product of hypocrisy and misogyny.
The lady hits the nail on the head right here:
Although the hospital eventually issued Gauge an apology, she felt both wounded and perplexed by the experience. “I’m thinking, why isn’t anybody asking [the anesthesia tech] how he recognized me?” she says. “OK, so what – I’m the provider, you’re the freaking consumer. Why is what I did so much more wrong than what you did?”
