For me that is a very difficult question......I share my secrets with friends....
I can not say my ex.....I gave him away...:rofl1:

It's funny how you can be honest with a stranger, someone you're sitting beside on the bus or on a plane.
I'll bet escorts hear a lot of dark secrets, some would be good therapists.

Unfortunately, just because someone hears it does not mean they are a good therapist. Shit, even most therapists aren't good at their jobs.

That's true, but it's therapeutic just to say aloud or write down what has been bothering you. Of course it helps if you can be guided, but expressing that darkness is the main thing.

I have one friend who knows most of my secrets. A couple friends who know some of them. No one knows all of them.

The bigger the secret, the less likely I am to tell anyone.

I don't share men, hairbrushes, toothbrushes or razors. If I wore panties I wouldn't share those either.

Every time I share a secret it comes back to bite me in the proverbial ass.

On the flip side I get buddies telling me that they will share a secret with me if I promise not to tell anyone.

To which I answer. In that case don't bother because I don't want the responsibility.

I've learned that this is very true! However, I don't much care for my therapists. They either spout drivel or simply act as a useless reflecting board. I've gained much more insight, guidance and comfort from having a friend who has proven that she puts my well-being first and gives me frank but thoughtful advice.
