I agree: what's the point? Talk about growing up confused I can see a tower and a rifle in that kid's future......

But seriously, if I was someone in authority I'd be consulting with psychologists etc to see if there may be some abuse in the process. I am all for freedoms but just because we're free, doesn't give us the right to do whatever the fuck we want. I think this is no different than that US couple who named their kid Hitler.....

BTW: just the fact that they named the kid "storm" speaks volumes.....

One key point in that article: parents should help their kids navigate the minefields....I wholeheartedly agree, BUT there is no need to make it worse by doubling the number of mines in that field and IMO, that is exactly what they have done....

Bottom line? I think the parents are fucking whackjobs.....by the legal definition lol.....

They should have named it "ann" as in Anndrogyny lol.......poor kid..he's fucked before he even had a chance.....

I wonder what kind of progressive society they hope to achieve? Where people are created in test tubes and implanted into cows? That sex will no longer be a part of our lives?

You also have to wonder what they're going to do when it hits puberty. If it's a girl and she starts menstruating, what are they gonna do, ignore it and let her bleed all over the place? Remove her ovaries so she won't?

I don't care what they may "think" they're doing, there are and always will be certain attributes to male and females. Whether they are called Kim Sue Storm and raised androgynously, eventually they will have to identify themselves as one or the other. It is inevitable.
