Pizza Hut announces they are laying off 80% of their host and wait staff and as soon as they have the pizza robots to deliver orders they will lay off another 10% of that staff group.

Plus no more flirting with cute waitresses!

Recently I had time to kill in an airport and went looking for a drink and some food. In the entire terminal, there was only one restaurant/bar that didn't have an Ipad at each seat for ordering.

Being the techno-dinosaur that I am, I was a little apprehensive. But I sat at a bar and the hostess pointed to the Ipad and said "you order here, and when you're ready to pay just slide your card there." I said "what if I want to pay cash?" She said, "we don't take cash here."

I left and went to the place with the live people taking orders. They also took cash. I am in this airport on a pretty regular basis, and now always go to this place if I have time.

Not every change is an improvement.
