It was a cool overnight and morning in Whitby (15 at the moment) but we are expecting a sunny day and a high of 22 later. The hot, humid weather is coming this weekend, apparently! I prefer this, thank you very much!

I couldn't sleep so here I am, at my computer, 4 o'clock in the morning. I'm working tonight until 10:30 p.m., then driving home after. Let's all hope I don't fall asleep at the wheel! Oh well, I'll sleep in tomorrow morning, if I'm lucky.

Anyway, I have all the doors and windows open to let in the beautiful, cool night air. The little temperature app on the bar below says it's 14 degrees, but there's no breeze whatsoever. The little air that is coming in feels nice though. And the cats do appreciate the openness--they run from door to door, looking at god-knows-what. I see darkness, they see--well, I hope it's squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks, and NOT zombies. I think I watch too much "Walking Dead".
