My first and only blind date.
I was set up by a friend and given what I thought was a pretty good description of the person I was to meet at a bar here in Toronto. Went there saw the women and proceeded to strike up a conversation with her. She seemed very distant and never really seemed interested in carrying on any conversation. After about 30 minutes of this I realized this was going nowhere so I decided to call of the date on a account of our mutual dislike from one another. So I got up the courage and said:
"Look, this blind date doesn't seem to be working out for either one of us so lets just agree to go our separate ways now and not prolong the inevitable."
"Blind date? What the hell are you talking about?"

Yup....I struck up a conversation with the wrong woman. She was in fact Karen. Just not the right Karen. And the only time the conversation actually went well was when we both laughed at my mistake. I still left though....
