Have You Ever Bought An Item From An SP's Online 'Wishlist'?

Most SP's with a website or a twitter account now have online 'Wish Lists' so clients can 'spoil them' as they say...The lists themselves are often populated with items ranging from simple everyday items and gift cards from typical retailers to much more 'exotic items' trending literally into the thousands of dollars.

I need to get edjumacated....

Why exactly do these lists exist?

Why do SP's believe they deserve 'gifts' above and beyond posted rates + tips? Particularly 'gifts' like $2000 shoes or $5000 handbags or $10K Cartier jewelry???

Is this some misplaced sense of expectation or entitlement, particularly where the dramatically expensive items are concerned, or is it simply a modern vehicle for clients to demonstrate their appreciation?

Have you ever bought something off one of these lists? If not, would you consider doing so in the future?

While I've often purchased gifts for SPs ranging from relatively inexpensive to obscene, I can't say being provided with a list of items that an SP 'wants' has ever resonated with me.

Perhaps others have a different perspective............?

I never understood that either. But if they can get it, more power to them. There are many pooners that live in la la land. They actually believe SP love them or that they care about them etc... They forget that it's all a show for them and they are here for the money as much as we are in for the money when we work.

Many pooners go out of their way to help them, give them loans and even risk losing their family and job by telling them their real names and where they work. Cannot blame the SP, they will take as much as we will give them.

Isn't that what talented athletes do?. We bitch on how many baseball players make millions while we can never earn that in a lifetime... Well, they will take the money and so should the SP.

At a loss to figure out what to get a regular lady for Christmas I went ahead and asked her. She linked me to her wish list and had fun picking out a few items. Her list is not on her web site or twitter account. Only provided if you ask I guess. Classy.
So many seem to be practically begging for gifts on web sites and twitter. Not classy.

I have used wishlists frequently, for birthdays and Christmas mostly, and sometimes just because I feel a lady deserves a little something extra for going above and beyond.

It's a lot easier too, because I can use a credit card with no suspicion. Cash is a little harder to come by, and when I have extra cash I tend to use it to pay for my "play" time. I rarely tip in cash for that very reason, but buying a gift (that you know she admires and wants) is a great alternative.

I think having the list posted saves them time in answering the same question over and over. As for me, I don't buy gifts but I usually ask if a new SP I'm seeing has any dietary restrictions. I like to pick up some they can eat like a small lunch or something. It's just my way of showing that I think of them as people first and providers second.

I frequently bring a gift to an Escort, usually something that costs next to nothing, but is of value to them, personally.

For example: One Escort a saw lives in Mississauga. I brought her a Mississauga transit map, so if someone is traveling to her incall, by car or by public transit, she can give the guy precise directions on how to reach her location, by car or bus, from wherever that guy is located. She just needs to have the map handy, when he calls to book. Cost to me: $2

Example two: I saw an Escort of Irish-Catholic descent. I brought her the DVD of the film "The Magdalene Sisters" - about the Magdalene Laundries in Ireland, where young women were put in asylums for life, for crimes like being too pretty and flirtatious, or having children out of wedlock. The flirtatious girls were considered sinful, because they inspired lust in young men. In practice, they were unfair competition for the 'plain Janes'. Cost to me: About $20.

My session was extended about 15 minutes longer than the time for which I booked, (I usually request that I be the last appointment on her daily calendar, which either means I have to leave on the dot, or I'm offered an extra SOG, if there's still fifteen minutes or more left in the paid time block. I've had each offered, more than once.

It really depends on whether she has somewhere else she need to be, or is just calling it a night, and it may depend on whether I was the only client that day. If I book a two hour session, some days in advance, the Escort sometimes doesn't book anyone else that day, or maybe only one, several hours earlier. One two hour session, needless to say, is preferable to four half hour sessions with guys who just want to rent a 'living doll', so to speak. The Magdalene Sisters is a difficult movie to obtain on DVD, but one well worth watching, for that particular Escort, and any of her friends, to whom she could lend the DVD.

To me, it earned $20 'good will' in the YMMV category, and was of greater value to her, in my opinion, than a dozen roses, or a bottle of wine, easily obtained, anytime. More about this film on Wikipedia:

The Magdalene Sisters - Wikipedia

I saw that movie on in an 'art house' movie theater, after reading a good review in the newspaper. It's a drama, based on real testimony. Some scenes are disturbing, like where all the girls are lined up naked in the showers, and the nuns give prizes to the one with the largest breasts, and the fullest bush, and shames the one with the smallest breasts, and the least pubic hair.

Any girl who went to a Catholic school back in the day knows all about the evil 'holier than thou' nuns who think they are Queen shit, because they go without sex. In fact, many of the best service providers and porn stars are alumni of those kind of schools, who rebel against that kind of repressive background, by 'making up for lost time'.

That's a way that the savvy of an older guy with both book and street smarts can often get better results than could be obtained with the six-pack abs and narcissistic personality of a shallow guy who will be nothing, after his looks fade.

The inmates of the Magdalene Laundries were free to leave, but only if a family member came to take them away. Otherwise, they were 'slaves of the nuns', for life, doing laundry all day, while the nuns received money for the work work the penitents did. Those places existed for hundreds of years, and were only abolished less than 30 years ago. There's also a documentary about the Magdalene Laundries, Called something like 'Life in Cold Climate', or something like that. It tends to piss off feminists, when they find out I know more about that subject than they do, as if I should feel guilty for being better educated and intelligent than they are.

Essentially, families send away their daughters to these instiutions if they were an embarrassment to them, very similar to the 'honour killings', with faux Muslims, who presume to import old world thinking to North American society.
So, the recipient of this DVD, being an Escort, may well have been sent to one of those places, had she lived there, then. I hope she gives me an anonymous likes, if she reads this board.

Yes Ive bought wish list items, or asked what she'd like for Christmas or birthday.
If you have a problem with the list, don't look at it. No one is expecting you to buy a gift. It's there only for those who WANT to buy a gift.
As for your question; Why do SP's believe they deserve 'gifts' above and beyond posted rates + tips?
Maybe that's just your reaction, but NOT how it was meant. It was meant for those who LIKE to spoil them, not expected or deserved, just a gift, no strings attached. And no, it's not payment for extra services or time, just a gift.
It's kinda like giving to charity, doing something nice for somebody or a cause you care about. It makes you feel good inside.

Marvin, here are a few things to consider:

Some guys might book a session on an expense account. A gift could be 'buried' in the expenses submitted. If the Escort wants something, and the guy doesn't have to pay for it himself, the lady of giving him a list of the types of 'tips' she would like to receive, other than additional cash.

One former Escort told me privately that she's allergic to certain types of flowers, and the ingredients in some perfumes. Whenever a guy brought her presents like that, she thanked him, and threw them in the garbage, as soon as he left.

A guy might work within some industry, or at a retail store. If he could obtain, say, women's shoes at little to no cost of his own, it would be helpful for him to know what her shoe size is, in case he brings shoes that would cost her say, $300 in a store, but he can get at the warehouse for nothing, if the model has been discontinued. If his wife or mistress has the same sized feet as the Escort, he might bring her a pair of someone else' shoes, 'nearly new'.

If the Escort lists wine or spirits in her wish list, this may or may not be an indication that she would drink alcohol with a client, in a multiple hour booking.

Some guys want to bring a gift, because that's part of the fantasy experience.

Some guys bring a gift, because they see the same Escort on a regular basis, but not necessarily exclusively.

The secret is to 'not think like a thousandaire'. Although the majority of the number of bookings an Escort might have is likely in the 90 minute or less range, the occasional 'single date' might be as lucrative to her, as all of her other monthly bookings combined.

An Asian sweatshop sex worker may service many men in a single day, in 15-30 minute installments. Her price will be rock bottom, and likely her service level will be, too.

An Agency girl with no word of mouth reputation is likely to have mostly one half hour to one hour appointments. If she is favorably reviewed, some of her appointments may be longer, after a while.

A long time Indy may derive the majority of her income from less than ten clients. She might possibly be reluctant to see more than one of them on the same day. A businessman from out of town who is in her town on business frequently is a desireable demographic. He's cheating on his wife with several women, but perhaps only one in each town. He wants some routine to his travel, so if he's in Detroit two days a month, and in Phoenix two days a month, he may want to have the same companion in those towns, whenever he's there. This arrangement is common with professional baseball players, because they play a series of games in different cities, rather than 'one night stands'. A guy who plays for the Tampa Bay Rays knows months in advance that he will be in Boston on certain dates. He lets his 'Boston girlfriend' know when he'll be in town. She might also have a Baltimore Orioles boyfriend, but the Rays and the Orioles are never in Boston at the same time, so neither guy cares who the lady is banging, when he isn't there.

The 'wish list' is confusing to the guy who thinks all clients are like himself, booking a maximum of one hour, once, with a series of different providers, for the purpose of increasing the number of bedpost notches on his stats table. There are plenty of guys like that, but they don't represent 100% of an Escort's clientele.

How often do you bring a gift to you own SO :search2:

I don't have a SO. But when I did, in the early days, I used to show up with unexpected gifts, buy flowers, or even do chores for her sometimes.
Now that im happily single, I like to spoil my favourite SP's, once in a while.
I also still like to buy unexpected gifts for my daughter. Bought her a new laptop recently, just cause she needed it, no special occasion. She's grown up and married now, but when she was little and I was a single father, we lived just a little above the poverty line. So, I like to spoil her when I get the chance.

You get IT, and you GET it. Props.

If a gentlemen were to bring me a gift, flowers would be the last thing I'd want, although I have received them and do appreciate and love flowers. When a man is seen at my door with flowers in hand, it's hard to explain to anyone who's seen him, that he was my plumber( an actual plumber for those with naughty minds, lol), an accountant, workman, or someone, other than a suitor, and I like absolute discretion.

Lord THUNDERING Jesus......

Not that I got that out of the way I can address the topic at hand.

There is nothing wrong with buying a small gift i.e. a bottle of wine, candy etc.... but remember using a service provider is not dating. If this is understood then one should do what they want to do.

I will say I don't pay attention to wishlists and if I am going to buy a gift it will be what I decide I want to buy based on from conversation what I believe is needed.
