As I guess you know, recently I've had a heart attack AND kidney stones. FML. So, I have been trying really hard to eat healthy. Would you be kind enough to rate my dinners on a scale of 1-10 to let me know if I am eating the right way. Possibly add suggestions?

-Baked boneless/skinless chicken breast seasoned with Ms. Dash
-Edamame (no salt)
-Mango salad (fresh mango, red onion, lime juice, cilantro)
-1 litre of water
-1 small glass (4 oz.) of red wine

I would stay away from the citrus and compensate it by having a 9 oz. of wine instead.

I don't know what Bosco will say, but it definitely sounds healthier than the lasagna, brownie and schnapps I had.

I'll give it a 8/10. Which is pretty darn good.

Then only thing you are missing is some heart healthy fat in that meal. Maybe some avocado or extra virgin olive oil in the salad.

Here's a thought. It's very important to get your stones analyzed. This way you can avoid the foods that are causing you to form stones.

It's covered under OHIP and your GP can get it done for you.

Too bad you cannot eat the skin of the chicken as that's the best part.

Chicken is real food. What is edamame?

It is a bean that comes in a pod (which you don't eat because it is too tough), much like a soy bean or a lima bean, but far better tasting. A staple in Japanese food.

I stand corrected, it is a soy bean, just a baby one. Like the veal of soy beans.

-BBQ Poached trout stuffed with onion, lemon and peppers, lightly rubbed with olive oil (less that 1 tea spoon)
-Steamed Zucchini and Green and Yellow beans.
-Home made Sweet Potato fries, (baked and rubbed with egg white instead of oil to make them crispy, pepper - no salt). About 1/2 potato worth
-Fruit salad of grapes, watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew (home made)

a 1, you are going be a slim Jim in a couple of months.

I'm enjoying a couple of fried eggs and my Lucky Charms right now! SHIT, milk dribbled down my chest. Milk droplets stuck on chest hair is not a pretty sight!:SayWhat?:
