I arrived here Monday afternoon, was picked up by the driver from the ranch I was staying at and dropped at the dentist right away. Met with the owner of the clinic, introduced to my new dentists and straight in the chair for about 3.5 hours. Dr. Yelda removed some of my old crowns and bridge, prepped 10 upper teeth for crowns. All painless.Got new temps. The lab, dentist and the owner all stayed late to accommodate me.Good ppl. Then I got picked up and driven to the where I stayed for 3 days.I moved from there and got a hotel in the city San Jose closer to the dentist. The ranch is beautiful, had my own cottage, food was B & S, didnt get any meat as they so proudly depicted on their website and it was very cold up in the mountains. 1st 2 nights I froze in the bed, couldn't get the propane heater going, nor the fireplace. After I complained to the owner of the ranch, he got all pissy with me, but heated up my room with the fireplace and supplied a full propane tank for my 3rd nite and got a shishkabob full of chicken.2nd day: got dropped at the dentist at 9 am for the 1st 2 of 8 root canals. The dentists took utmost consideration and pace in regards to my heart-attack 8 months ago. The procedure was painless again, and I had no problem spending 4 hours in the chair. We decided that it would be ok to proceed with 3 root canals the next day and 3 more today. The cost of each root canal is $250 + 125 post & core build up. The emax crowns are $315 each. Im getting my full mouth restored with 25 crowns and a 3piece bridge. I worked out a sweet deal with Mike Lomax who is the American proprietor of the lab & clinic. In addition I got a further discount by purchasing a 40$ VIP membership at costaricaticas.com and for paying in cash. I can tell you both my dentists are very good. I met alot of patients here from the States, all are satisfied as am I. They work very efficiently and carefully. The clinic has the latest technology and high standards.Tomorrow dr. Yelda is prepping the rest of my teeth for crowns. The clinic provides a driver who picks me up and drops me at my hotel. Since I didn't wanna carry a large sum of cash, Jeff the clinics cheuffer, drives and escorts me to the Scotia Bank. I am paying each day as we go along.Tomorrow evening after all prep is done I get another temporary set of teeth and I'm on the bus or taxi for 2 hours heading to the pacific coast beach. Come back to San Jose on Monday morning to get started on the crowns. I expect to have my new bright white smile by mid to end of next week.So boys & gals this is whts up. I'm enjoying my stay in Costa Rica. Last nite I ventured out to the casino Del Ray.., Oops sorry I mean whoore house where approx. 50 gringos and about 200 very beautiful ticas were mongering around. I dunno if I should tell you all this: pussy here on average is 60$-100$ beautiful women abound!!!I might even partake
