This morning I washed and rinsed my raspberries as thoroughly as I thought needed, then while eating them I noticed a small insect scurry across one, and was grossed out completely and left the rest. So out of curiosity I googled the subject and what I found was interesting......most posts elude to the fact that we all eat bugs regularly, we're just not seeing them..... this kind of makes me want to stop eating, lol. read on if interested:)

Read the Canada Food and Agriculture guidelines for the allowable number of "insect parts" in your food...it'll put you off eating for a bit.

I was told that ketchup is one of the worst for containing ground and dissolved insects. I suppose out of sight means out of mind. @papa, lol, it's okay, we know you often fail.................................................................................................................... just kidding.

I'm sure I've eaten plenty....but none on purpose. They are everywhere. But none of the ones you've eaten have done you any harm....so why worry.

Hell, in some countries/cultures, they are delicacies.

Well the ones I've eaten may be to blame for my reasoning and need for sitting on high horses..................:-Cool/",lol, who knows:biggrin2: and what is good in some countries, isn't thought to be so in others, they can keep their delicacies :) ick
