I have very few rules for bringing someone into the Allegra Escorts Collective, but one of those is that you must have (and use) a twitter account. It's simply the best tool out there for communication, promotion, activism, and social interaction in the sex industry. Twitter has given us a voice in a way that no other social media platform has, and they'll rue the day they decide to start censoring sexual expression.

I've been an active user since 2010 (under my other, more-well-known moniker) and I love having one where I can espouse my thoughts on the state of the business. Plus, I have a lot of fun using my #madamproblems hashtag to give you guys a few little snippets of my day-to-day life.

I nominate HurricaneHazel as twitter of the year. Crazy sexy. Love her bits - wooops - that post was deleted. Actually, I love the opportunity to have, as my gran used to say, "intercourse" with a prospect beforehand. It helps establish boundaries, interests - the old bonbons site was great at that and key for them they controlled the space - pretty leading edge.
