Hey, I live in Toronto and I am a Hydro customer but I get the bill and I pay it, no questions asked.

Maybe you should just wait and call customer service tomorrow and find out if it's possible?

The only way you will get your question answered here if there happens to be a pooner that works in the billing department.

yes i m aware of that i can customer service tomorrow...I am preparing for my case and as I copy and read documents I find stuff...this question I asked can be answered by a hydro customer.

i posted the jpg so u all can understand what im talking about (gosh i pray the judge is brighter than you guys)

the statement date on the bill is September 14, 2009...but ACCORDING TO THE STAMP that bill was paid on September 3,2009 ...11 days prior to the statement date...kapish

Is there not anyone you won't take to court?.

ok, first off, a statement of your account is one thing, a bill is another...you don't pay your statement, you pay your bill......

yes, you can pay your bill before the due date
yes you can get a copy of the bill online before the due date. they usually send them out 2 to 3 weeks before they are due.....or a couple of weeks after the usage period. for eg: a bill for your usage from april 3 to may 3 should be available for you to pay, online and in the mail around may 10....i think the due date is something like 2 or 3 weeks after the billing/usage period.....

i really don't know lisa.....that bill doesn't look anything like mine....

i would assume that you couldn't because the statement date would be the date the statement was printed....just like a bill....there would be a due date and a bill date.....which would be the date the bill was actually printed (or posted online).....

what are you getting at? i might be able to answer if i knew what you were after.....

ok, i think i get it...the teller's stamp says it was paid on september 3, yet the statement is actually for september 14.....i really don't know if they are sent out that early....btw, that is toronto hydro, not hydro one....i'd have to say no, they are usually only sent out on the actual date......

if i were you, i'd ask for a peak at the original if your old landlord sent you that copy.....it is pretty easy to photoshop a teller's stamp in......all you'd have to do is draw it in, then fade it.......or if you had a stamp from another bill, cut and paste it.....
