I've also been corresponding with a guy named vivero on Cerb recently. He only has a couple of dozen posts so far to his name. He seems to be mainly a massage guy, and an Asian massage guy at that. He seems to have gone to a few of the same Asian places that you guys seem to go to. But he says he only goes to those places as they are the most common places that he finds around, but he wouldn't mind branching out. He's interested in trying out Alma, and he would like to find out more about the SP scene. He seems to be interested in joining us at the club some day.

Here's his posting profile on Cerb: https://is.gd/7egjpt

Now, as for Cowboy Wealthy (oops, keep getting confused with Cowboy Kenny), I'll check his posting profile out. Here's his posting profile on Cerb: https://is.gd/DuJhLW

Now comparing between them, vivero seems to mainly active in only the Ottawa massage discussions side of things on Cerb, whereas WC seems to be more diverse and he is highly active in the Cerb non-service oriented scene as well as the Ottawa massage scene. Didn't notice any interest in escorts or strip clubs on his postings.

The way I see it, WC might be able to contribute a lot of advice to us, whereas Vivero would be more dependent on our advice. I also worry about people who have fewer than 100 message to their name, but WC is pretty close to that goal, whereas Vivero is much further back. Do we want to bring mainly veterans in, or do we want to extend membership to enthusiastic newbies too?

Not sure about WC...I read some of his posts and he comes across as trying to suck up to the escorts a little (not as bad as RoamingGuy), I guess if we do invite him he will see this post! I am remembering a gifts/tipping thread that made me almost lose my lunch. From what I read, I don't think I would want him in...but if the group wants to give him a try we can. Have not seen anything on vivero. I am still trying to convince Hector and GlavaMan.

Oh, don't worry, we'll erase all of these posts before the new members arrive, just like we did with Paul (LOL!:rofl!:).

Regarding WC, how has his correspondences with you been, mmad? Have you had PM's with him, or just all in the public forums? How does he come across to you?

Vivero seems to be quite enthusiastic. Just not a lot of experience. And just like my experience with that idiot Lester, who blabbed all that stuff about Claire Heavens that I told him, so I had to throw him under the bus, I worry about their maturity. But so far, he doesn't seem to be one that would blab stuff out.

I haven't exchanged anything with him, just noticed that he was very active all of a sudden. He joined in October 2014 and has over 100 posts already. Lets just hang tight and see how things progress.

As per having experienced or newbies as part of our group, I always find that a variety is nice. With someone with limited experience it feels good to be able to provide useful information that they are usually grateful for..... just my thoughts.

I'm still the junior guy here, so I just go with the flow, although the group is titled, DOB's...key word OLD, which implies someone who's been around the scene a while, and chronologically old, verses a young guy. If age isn't a requirement, and of course until you actually meet someone, you don't know how old they are anyway. If younger come in, then it would require a legal change of name and hiring a lawyer to amend it from DOB's to maybe just DB's, Dirty Bastards!...lol

Agree but old is relative; I don't really consider Ryan and Joe "old" as per my definition but they've both been around the scene longer than me. I visited CMJ earlier today and my feeling is that most people active in this hobby are older, probably due to younger folks not having the disposable income to spend hobbying! I don't think I've ever met anyone at a CMJ social younger than 35+ and many are my age. I was there too early today (only one other geezer there) so I left and figured I'd go back later but I never made it. I decided to go for a legit massage after a hard week and visited La Viva Spa on Baseline where my all time favourite, Mai, worked. No sign of her coming back yet, damn! Well, kinda glad this week is over, it was dreadful !!

You do make a valid point here, our group name does sort of imply grizzled old veterans. :wink2:

Well, still some newbies may be new to the hobby, but not necessarily new to the world. :biggrin2:

Let's see who shows up at the club eventually, and we still have the option of not inviting someone if we don't think he's going to fit in.

Are you ever in contact with SLURP whom I met on C*ERB ?, he would be considered as Veteran and a great asset to the Asian addicts, besides a seasoned Veteran does not have loose lips that can sink ships like that idiot blabber mouth you had to deal with on C*ERB :biggrin2:

Paul please do not lower yourself as a Junior Member, you have contributed in spades to the DOB's :YMAPPLAUSE:

Skinflute, I've invited Slurp to these get togethers many times, he just doesn't have the time with his travelling schedule. He barely contributes anymore on Terb or Cerb.

Skinflute thanks for your kind comments, which is appreciated, but as you may know I've never historically been one to post on the boards, and in fact never on CERB, but in the beginning 11 yrs ago I used to post fairly often on TERB. I tended to PM and share info, and also ask others privately, as I felt I liked to choose who I was going to make contact with, and it was with those that I trusted and simply liked.

I'm honoured to have been given the chance to be in this select group, where not only information can be shared, but also it's now more of a personal friendship, when you meet someone in person. As a result, I try and be an active contributor, unlike before when I was passive and selective. This is a hobby that you keep secret from family and friends, as they'd never understand, so nice to have that personal connection where you can discuss things with trusted people, who understand it because they're in the same situation.

BTW, I asked Vivero how long he's been into the hobby, he said since March! Very new, but seems to be curious.

Prior to seeing his name here, I don't even recall seeing it in any posts, but of course I'm not looking for guys names!
