That's not why I hate him...

I hate him because regardless of who the guy was, Bryant took the life of another human using a vehicle as his weapon. And as predicted (by myself at the time of the accident) because of his standing with the police and politicians, he got off scott free... If it were any ordinary Joe, there would have been SOME sort of repercussion even if the other guy "was a nutcase who had everything coming to him". Vehicular Manslaughter?

Who says there's not a double standard?
Nah, I gotta disagree with you there.
Cops went over Bryant's case with a fine tooth comb, but they found only self-defense

You are entitled to your opinion... no worries Esco.

I was taking a stroll down University last night when all of a sudden I was grabbed from behind and had a knife jabbed into my neck. I felt a hand go into my pocket and all my cash was taken from me. At that point I was released handed a business card and thanked kindly. The card read as below;

John Smith,
State Farm Representative.
With State Farm you are in good hands.

The thing about insurance is that we ALL begrudge paying it out every month, month after month, paying out thousands of dollars....then when you write off your car, pseudo truck, or your house burns down, you're like "whew" thank god.....

The thing about mandatory insurance is: it is only mandatory to have liability insurance (what for now with no fault insurance I'll never know) you do NOT need to have comprehensive or collision. Same as your house, if it's paid for, you aren't required to have replacement insurance, just liability.

So, moral of the story is: if you want to cut your insurance premiums, only take liability and gamble that your vehicle won't ever get stolen or you won't ever get into an accident or you won't ever have a fire etc.

I agree with you that cops and govt crown attorney's are often in bed with each other though. But in the Bryant case there was way too much pressure on cops to prosecute Bryant. In the end there just wasnt enough evidence to convict
