How can I join their platoon?.

The Israeli military says it has disciplined a group of female soldiers who posed for provocative photos on their base and shared the images on Facebook, the Times of Israel reports.
The military said Sunday it disciplined the women, who were reportedly new recruits stationed on a base in southern Israel. In the photo, the recruits were standing with their army fatigues pulled down to expose their skimpy underwear and buttocks.

In another photo, five women posed in what looked to be a barracks room, wearing only helmets and their combat vests.

The Israel Defense Forces told the Times of Israel that the women had demonstrated "unbecoming behaviour" for Israeli soldiers.
"The commanding officers disciplined the soldiers as they saw fit," the IDF said.

It is hard to believe that the IDF is rated one of the top military forces in the world - those young ladies could probably kick my ass.

There are lots of pics of IDF soldiers on instagram and Facebook - In practice I think it would be difficult administratively to draw the line and review the photographs which allegedly cross the line. Nevertheless it is all in good fun. Better that than having pics out there of soldiers torturing people or defacating on people for fun (i.e. that make shift prison in Iraq, etc.)
