Insertion said:I agree with Tboy, discrimination exists within all races. I'm not saying it's right or wrong but most races like to stay within their own race. How many fathers regardless if they're Indian, Chinese, European, African are happy if their little girls bring home a boy outside their own race. I believe it's human nature but because of history i.e. slavery white people have been painted with the racism brush.
Another example of remaining within ones own race is look at how the GTA is divided. Markham and parts of downtown are mainly Asian, Woodbridge mainly Italian, ect...... You can't fight human nature, education helps but in the end instinct and human nature takes over.
tboy said:This applies to nationalities as well (as you pointed out). I've told this story a few times on here where I was dating a greek chick and her mother, right to my face, said to me "you're nothing, you're not greek".......

Sorry T, the Greek mother had a point. You can brag and pound your chest about the Texperience but to greek properly you must be greek. Senor is fooling himself greeking as a sombrero wearing Spaniard Malaka.
tboy said:She said to me as we were starting to get busy: You're going to laugh, me being greek and all, but I've never tried it "that" way.....want to try?" lol....
BTW: I'm never beat my chest about the T experience....everyone else keeps harping on it lol.......
Transient said:What the billboard is using is the academic definition of racism. The meaning used by sociologists is, racism is the prejudice against a race by the race that makes the rules. Not talking club, neighborhood or city, but countrywide. As one definition put it, racism is prejudice with institutionalized power.
Racial prejudice can be exercised by anyone, but racism is considered as being caused by the race with the controlling power.

I'm just toying with you on the Texperience, it would make for a good trademark though. I would like to refer to my move as the Madexperience, but it just doesn't roll off the tongue as nicely as yours. LOL
