Last week an elder woman fell down right in the middle of Yonge and Dundas intersection, several ppl including myself attempted to help her up. She just sat there as the light turned red and the streetcar was about to cross Yonge St. I reached out for her arm, I didn't touch her...she screamed out DON'T PULL MY ARM! ...I just said fuck it and moved on, while others dragged her out of the intersection.

Today I go to my doctor, nice and early, nobody (patients) are there...yet I still have to wait nearly an hour. Meantime a seriously obese woman tracks it in with newborn twins and a huge stroller. I see her coming towards the door so I go open it and hold it for her. My name gets called I go into the room, wait another 10 minutes when a nurse comes in and says 'can i move you into another room?' I say no problem. She says to me 'there is another patient infront of you then you'. I ask her if it's the woman with the babies and she says yes. So now I m like but I've been here nearly an hour and way before her. She says sorry. I'm like.. fuck it and leave.

Whats your story?

If you waited one hour already what's another 10-15 minutes. Not that sick?.

I didn't have my coffee yet for one (miserable), second I was only there to renew a prescription, third this fat fuck looked like she was gonna need way more than 15 minutes.

I go to a clinic that lets you book online. They email you an appointment time, so I go 10 minutes early, check in and get ugly looks when I get booted to the front of the line.

For the record though, it seems that if you are kind or considerate in our society it's viewed as weakness and you need to be preparing yourself for a fucking.

Well it;s my family doctor but also a walk in clinic. He wasn't there today he called in sick (lol). Another thing is that the last 3 or 4 times I've been made to wait a long time even tough i had an appointment booked. Last time in particular the receptionist booked me in for 4pm...and when I arrive she said you are next, should only be a few minutes...I wait and wait and wait at 40 minutes I ask the receptionist Whats up I thought you said I was next, while another receptionist overhears me and says Dr. SoandSo doesn't work past 2 pm. lol

agree with your last statement!

If there is a person who is very sick with will bump them up.....
I had an asthma attack a few months back....and they brought me
right in.....with kids they do the same....or she had an appointment...

I always help people when I can......Why not....The old woman who fell
could have being shaken and may had issues with her hand...you never know...
I am glad you bite your lip.....

I have help a person get an apartment to rent even though I never knew her well,
did some white lie for that.....I have given money to people who needed it even
though I knew they would never had done it for me or I knew I would never get it back...

If you are doing nice things don't take it that because you do them others should do it for
you or they should be happy you did it.....Does not work that way....and I never expect
anything in return....

I've said this 1000's of times now. People in time eventually expect you to do nice things for them. When you decline to you're declared a prick or selfish.

The lion's share of people in the world live by the phrase "I don't care what you've already done for me - what have you done for me lately."

when i am kind to ppl i don't expect anything in return, i don't even care if they say thank you, but don't try and fuck me over

I overheard the fat fuck telling the receptionist that the reason she is there is because her (2months old twins) cry simultaneously

That is why you say No at times, so they do not have an expectation......
And I do not have an expectation with them either.....if they can not understand NO then they
can have a fit but I stick my boundaries......

So if I have extra cash...I have no issues in sharing it...
If I see a person needing help I will help......The first thing you learn in First Aide is you need to be
safe before rushing in to help......You can not help a person if you then need the help....

I have lost friends but that is their choice, I am always open in staying friends....
I myself do not want anything in return other than friendship......I have no expectation
of people, I understand NO.......

Hon, when it has to do with small infants, they are first in line......They teach you that if you have a child
and they are in distress you are to tell the 911 that it is a child.....what happens is Ambulance and Firetrucks will rush over fast than a Teen or Adult......

Infants having meningitis will cry a little that is it....you never know...

Honeybee, when you said F**K you over....How do you get F**k...:LMAO:

I hear what you are saying about the infants, had one...when she came in they were asleep and not crying, it was not an emergency and my visit with the doc would have been merely 2 minutes, computer print out prescription and off i go, plus i already been waiting nearly an hour while no one was there but 3 doctors...why do they make you wait so long anyway?

To renew prescriptions, I call the pharmacist and they fax my doctor! When ready, the pharmacy calls and says, "Mr. HOF, your prescription is ready!"

Only a fool or an imbecile or maybe both would wait an hour to have a presription refilled! Jus sayin'

Then I must be an imbecile!! LOL Thanks for the useful information HoF.:good:

listen asshole stay the fuck outta my threads as I give you the same courtesy...besides thought you had me on ignore...FYI I don't know the reason why (maybe it's to bleed OHIP) but my doc does not do the FAX thingy as my pharmacist told me.

Peace, you need to get a new doctor! Seriously, what practise in 2012 doesn't use fax information on prescriptions? Maybe those doctors that do are the idiots!

Hahah...well at least I will do the fax thing when renewing any prescriptions. Thanks again Hof.

:LMAO: Threads are public and original posters cannot control who reads or replies to them! The magical thing about ignoring is that you can still pipe in if you choose too.:good:
