For a celebrity who is well known for his work with the ‘Make A Wish Foundation’, it’s no surprise to see John Cena making another child happy this week.
On WWE’s Monday Night Raw, Cena honoured a young wrestling fan battling cancer with a heartwarming gesture that brought tears to the eyes of people all over the world. The 38-year-old spotted the young boy and his sign in the crowd before his bout against Kevin Owens. Going down to the crowd, Cena chatted to the boy briefly before leading him into the ring.
The brave little boy was holding a handmade, “I’m beating cancer” sign and Cena’s impromptu gesture seemed to make his night. He was also allowed to hold Cena’s title belt, before the great man himself offered him one of his classic salutes. Check out the video below.
Wrestlers are all just big kids at heart.
