John Vincent is known to do this. He performs at Ditka’s in Chicago and has worked for Mike Ditka for 15 years, according to WGN-TV. He has an awesome voice.
On Saturday, before the Game 2 of the Cubs-Giants NLDS series, Vincent held the note of the word “Free” in the national anthem for almost 20 seconds.
