Time is of the essence when looking for a new job like most people mentioned. I have a younger friend that has been unemployed for about a year and a half and is having a lot of trouble now. He lives with his family now and since they don't pressure him he has no motivation. I told myself no way I want to end up like him!
Been trying to sharpen up my skills and learn some new things since my last job required a very narrow field of technical know-how. It feels harder to study when you're older.
One thing I've noticed is that the neighbourhood and the city seem so different in the day. Some places I only ever see during morning and afternoon rush hour so that's my only memory of them.
