. . . I blame rap music.

The music bed was missing when I played this video.

But I suspect you're right. Didn't strike me as Beethoven.

A vile man who wore a t-shirt mocking two Manchester officers who were shot dead last month was sentenced to eight months in prison today.

Barry Thew, 39, of Wolsey Street, Radcliffe, wore the disgusting t-shirt reading ‘One less pig; perfect justic’ and ‘Killacop4fun.co.uk hahaaa’ just hours after PC Nicola Hughes and PC Fiona Bone were killed in Hattersley, Tameside.

Thew was seen insulting the officers just three hours after their deaths and was arrested – today he admitted a Section 4A Public Order Offence (displaying writing or other visible representation with intention of causing harassment, alarm or distress).

Inspector Bryn Williams, of the Radcliffe Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "While officers on the ground were just learning of and trying to come to terms with the devastating news that two colleagues had been murdered, Thew thought nothing of going out in public with a t-shirt daubed with appalling hand written comments on.

"Thankfully the overwhelming response from the public - who have inundated us with messages of support and condolence – prove that Thew is the exception and not the rule and our communities were right behind us at our darkest hour.

"To mock or joke about the tragic events of that morning is morally reprehensible and Thew has rightly been convicted and sentenced for his actions."

Dale Cregan, 29, of Droylsden, is charged with the officers’ murders – as well as father and son David and Mark Short – and is due in court on November 5

Police say a car clocked at more than 200 kilometres per hour on Highway 401 in southwestern Ontario was carrying two children who weren’t properly strapped into their child seats.

Provincial traffic police say they stopped the vehicle after a traffic patrol observed a driver going at 212 kilometres an hour just before 2 p.m. Monday near the municipality of Chatham-Kent.

They say the vehicle continued to travel at high speeds even after cruisers were set up to stop it.

A 29-year-old Toronto woman is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, racing a motor vehicle and two counts of failure to ensure a toddler is properly secured.

The woman’s licence has been suspended for a week and the vehicle has been impounded.

Jacksonville cop making threatening comments after election not only bad behavior

https://jacksonville.com/news/crime...nts-after-election-not-only-bad#ixzz2Cwzab71d

Sam Koivisto, now a former Jacksonville police officer, told investigators he did comment he’d volunteer to kill President Barack Obama. He told them he was frustrated with and the threat was all talk.
On Wednesday, Koivisto told the Times-Union the issue was “blown out of proportion” and that he was planning to retire in five months anyway. He said the early retirement was probably “best for everybody.”
