Not much, but a good start.

Thanks Bosco, I have been following much of what you have posted.

Nice, you've become a lesser man...but in a good way. :good:
Here's to better heath, keep up the effort a 1 and KITT! (toasting you with a broccoli!)

Excellent a 1, bosco has posted alot of helpful information.

On a sidenote, I just found out that I'm type 2 diabetic, so I've cleaning out the fridge and panty, there's alot of foods going to 'FOOD SHARE', and I'll be shopping at 'Goodness Me!'

put 8lbs of butter together on the counter and look at it, you'll see it's alot, good job. pat pat pat

Thanks, I appreciate that.

TBH, I was expecting a snide comment, but you've shown remarkable class. Believe it or not, you've made my morning.

BTW, when I get down to my goal weight, I'm gonna smoke one big ass blunt in celebration, something I have not done in 15 years.

Did you cut down on the alcohol as well?. That is how I lost 15 lbs in 4 months.

Not much of a drinker to begin with.

No fast food, white bread, rice, potatoes, processed foods, pop

Started with lean meats, skinless chicken, tons of fish (4x a week minimum), huge amounts of veggies and fruit.

Started walking, swimming, and body resistance exercises... Push ups, sit ups, burpees, squats... Also started using the heavy and speed bags again. Shoulder and elbow problems are making me wary of the gym at the moment. Maybe soon.

What's a burpee?

Congrats on the 8 lbs. Just so you know, it's not really lost...it's on my ass. You can have it back anytime you want.

Send that ass over here and I'll be more than happy to take it.

A burpee is a jumping jack, leg kick, pushup thingy all mixed into one.

I prefer to call burpees barfees because if you bang out enough fast enough that's what you'll want to do. Myself, I do weighted ones (20lb dum bells in each hand) as part of my cardio strength circuit.

Excellent to hear of you success thus far a1

Good going A 1 Player. I'll have a couple of beers on your honor.

THaTS actually very good. :great:

It is better to lose it off slowly as it gives your body time to adjust and maintain at that weight level. It is often found that many people who have lost so much weight in such a short time actually gain it all back.

Perhaps you can check it out with MB...
