I don't think there was any doubt about that one. The guy was an idiot to plead not guilty. Now it's life, without parole, and only a 73% chance of getting out after 17 years, under the 'faint hope' clause.

That's going to be a tough 17, though. The guy's going to gain ten pounds, just from semen.

One thing I don't understand about sentencing....if it's life without parole, then why the fuck is there any % chance that he could get out before he dies? (This isn't at you Bob, just the justice system)

What took the jury so long when it was so obvious.

His lawyers argued and presented expert testimony that he is schizophrenic and was having an episode at the time. Therefore he couldn't differentiate between right and wrong.

But he bragged to a reporter that interviewed him about his video's that he had put on line with him killing cats that he would kill a human next.

And that sounds premeditated too me. Case and life closed.
