We are doing good..............the National Guard came in and is doing a stellar job digging people out...........Sadly 10 confirmed deaths from the storm are being reported.

We will recover over the weekend but with a 40 degree swing in temps, flooding is our next issue as is building and roof collapses.

We are not in great shape but the worst is over.

I am actually able to get out to see two customers today.

Right now most are hoping this is not setting the pace for the next 4 months.

I keep forgetting about the localized nature of the snowfall up there. The lake effect snow is quite different than what I am used to. Hopefully, the Nat. Guard can get some drains cleared to help when the melt starts.

Thank you Papa! That chocolate is just what I need to start this day.

Monday night I'm co-hosting a party for 50+ people. Then Thurs. I'm having thanksgiving at my place. I have a lot of cooking and cleaning and planning to get done, and somehow I've lost my list. Is that chocolate laced with Xanax?

People down here were surprised when I mentioned the possibility of roofs collapsing, they just have no idea how heavy snow can be.

According to the weather service the rain should be help to about a half an inch.


Not such a problem for be but for those with 6 or 8 feet of snow it is.
