Hijacks aren't always an improvement, but many of mine are a literary device employed to provide comic relief and respite from seriousness.

Sometimes my hijacks are the result of normal curiousity, similar to when people interrupt a conversation to ask a question for clarity.

Sometimes I just forget what thread I'm in and get sucked into another hijack like a dust bunnie into a Hoover.

Thank you. I was seriously thinking about stopping at 9,999 and never posting under this login again, just for giggles sake, but then decided not to, since the post count was never a target I cared about.

When the Despicable Me movie first came out (2010? Something like that!) Walmart was selling inflatable minions about 18 inches tall. I bought dozens, inflated them and got them all over the floor of my office, and spent the next week or so watching as people walked by shaking their heads in amazement. Of course, I'd do the fiendish laugh to complete the picture. I still have a few of the yellow folks...and they are in my new office, sitting on my desk, monitor, and phone...

I'm not familiar with minon history or culture, but I think they're adorable. :biggrin2:
