I make mine in cream and of course use bacon drippings.

Never instant and always a thick and creamy.

Add some Andouille Sausage in with the Shrimp and a pepper cream sauce to set the Shrimp and Grits above all the others

depending on the amount you can have them to the table in 30 minutes or so
