That's ok, everyone needs a day off from the regular routine every once in a while. :wink2:
Is it ok if I tell you about the awful experience I had today?
I went to get a tooth pulled today - 3 needles later and the tooth still isn't frozen. I know that because he poked it with a sharp instrument and I felt PAIN. However, he somehow managed to numb the nerves that control my left eye and I can no longer blink or close my eye, which is really freaking me out. I pointed it out to the dentist and he looked concerned and said, "oh that's weird ... well don't worry, it'll go away"
He tells me that I have to make a choice, stop or keep going, because he can't stop half way through pulling it out. I told him to give it one more try, so he starts clamping down and twisting on my tooth and I feel A LOT OF PAIN, so I start crying and he has to stop. I'm shaking like a leaf and feel like I'm going into shock, and the dentist tells me I need to see a dental surgeon and be put to sleep to have it done.
One of the harshest experiences of my life, I still have an infected tooth and I've been in pain for a month already! On the bright side, it's a few hours later and I can now blink and close my eye.
That sounds awful! You seem to be taking it well, I would have dropped kicked the dentist.
