Back in the day when I was not so Smerferific....A young lady took a swing at me and connected......I told her the first one was free, as was my policy.
She swung again and I hit her with a right cross to the jaw.....and at the same time took out her knee.
She went down faster than a fat girl on a Twinkee......When I helped her up she complained that I hit her......I affirmed her thoughts.

No, I'm likely to walk away from that situation. I might even run from a woman who appears to have lost control of herself just to avoid any type of physical confrontation with her.

In most instances, using your head and words to diffuse the situation should be the default position when being confronted or threatened by a smaller/weaker adversary.

What is the point of hitting someone who 9.99/10 times is smaller and weaker than you are? At most, you should be able to firmly restrain or ward off pretty much any female attacker who is not armed with a life threatening weapon.

Retaliation in the form of physical violence is simply wrong. It has nothing to do with 'women wanting to be treated as equals'. :no:

I think it depends on the situation, and how much self control you have. Many of you guys are trained in self defense and know exactly what degree of force is required to subdue an opponent.
