This officer was incompetent and should be fired and he should do some prison time. The man he killed even told he had a concealed weapon and held his hands up immediately, but the officer still shot him. You can tell when the officer goes, 'F*ck' that he knows he made a bad move shooting this man.

None of this warranted deadly force, and that officer got emotional knowing that it was all being viewed on camera. I'm not saying all police are bad, but these bad apples need to be rooted out. This video is heartbreaking to watch. People can spin this all they want, but this officer failed to do his job out of gross incompetence and now an innocent man is dead. And all for a busted tail light.

Very sad.

Two Dallas cops were shot tonight during a #BlackLivesMatter rally in downtown in response to the deaths of and (although I’m reading verified Twitter news feeds that are reporting 4 to 6).

The clip shows the crowd running away as a man with a reported semi-automatic rifle shot into the direction of the responding authorities.

The clips below are from a few bystanders with Twitter accounts. That sounds like one powerful rifle. And that’s all I got — this story is too new for more details, but I’ll get something up if anything happens. Be careful out there, Dallas

Nassau, July 9 (ANI): The Bahamas has issued a travel advisory for its citizens planning to go to the United States, warning them about the high tensions in some cities over the shooting of 'young black males'.

"At the commencement of the Independence holiday weekend, many Bahamians will no doubt use the opportunity to travel, in particular to destinations in the United States. We wish to advise all Bahamians traveling to the US but especially to the affected cities to exercise appropriate caution generally.

In particular young males are asked to exercise extreme caution in affected cities in their interactions with the police. Do not be confrontational and cooperate," a statement by the Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The statement further warned its citizens to not get involved in political or other demonstrations under any circumstances and avoid crowds.
The Bahamas has consular offices in New York, Washington, Miami and Atlanta and honorary consuls in Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago and Houston.

Earlier, five police officers were killed after unknown snipers ambushed them amid protests in Dallas over the shooting of two black men by cops in Louisiana and Minnesota.

Six other officers were also wounded in the shoot out.

The crowd had gathered to protest against the killing of Philando Castile on Wednesday by a cop in Minnesota and Alton Sterling who was shot by a policeman on Tuesday in Louisiana.

People across the nation vented their anger and rallies were carried out in Minnesota, Louisiana, Chicago, New York and many other cities.
The shooting in Dallas happened as protests were underway.

Witness Clarissa Myles said "Everyone was screaming, people were running. I saw at least probably 30 shots go off."
Another witness who was at the protest said he heard multiple gunshots in rapid succession.

Video showed numerous police officers crouching behind vehicles. Others approached a location holding protective shields.

Philando Castile, a school food services worker, was shot in Falcon Heights on Wednesday, outside Minneapolis, when a police officer pulled him over because of a broken taillight, said his fiancee, Diamond Reynolds, who was in the car with Castile, along with her 4-year-old daughter. (ANI)

In An Apparent First, Police Used A Robot To Kill

After sniper fire struck 12 police officers at a rally in downtown Dallas, killing five, police cornered a single suspect in a parking garage. After a prolonged exchange of gunfire and a five-hour-long standoff, police made what experts say was an unprecedented decision: to send in a police robot, jury-rigged with a bomb.

"We saw no other option but to use our bomb robot and place a device on its extension for it to detonate where the suspect was," Dallas Police Chief David Brown told a news conference Friday. "Other options would have exposed our officers to grave danger. The suspect is deceased as a result of detonating the bomb."

At a Friday evening press conference, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings revealed that police used a common plastic explosive known as C4.

"This was a man that we gave plenty of options to to give himself up peacefully and we spent a lot of time talking. He had a choice to come out and we would not harm, or stay in and we would. He picked the latter."
