Personally I would be open in meeting the couple. However perhaps in a neutral more social setting as in a restaurant just to keep the atmosphere relaxed and not to put them out.

I welcome expression of feelings, dialogue, debate and exchange of opinions with respect, dignity and a level head.

The couple and, we should not knock a society or ones system of beliefs, only try to understand them, educate and if you wish to try to change a belief or lifestyle understand there should be no compulsion and only lead by example and leave the rest to "the higher power" if that is within your dogma. To each his own.

There are a lot of great, great people on these board...and passionate, as illustrated by some of the responses in this thread. All the members I had met at the HUBGFE party were outstanding individuals and one would really benefit from knowing them and from their friendship.
Same goes for the SPs.
