Taking her and family to the 4 seasons on avenue road. Been doing it for 5 years now, expensive but Mama likes their brunch menu.

Plan on getting her a male dancer for the hour :toocool:

She is cooking at home for her us.

Just kidding :bomb:

Good question and I have no idea where to take her. Will let my brothers decide and I will just tag along.

Why do they have to have a Mother's day. Everyday should be Mother's day for our Moms.

I've spent the last month helping my mother recover from surgery.
Other family members went on vacation.
I'm hoping that on mother's day...... I won't have to see my mother.

Mother's Day,

My mom passed away December 4, 2004, so I won't be celebrating anything. I may tie one on, knock on my sibling's door, kick him in the nuts and break his jaw (again) as he falls to the ground. That would be the best gift I could give my mom on her day!

Great thing is that in June, I can do again for my father!

Then in July, it's my birthday, so I can mess him up again.

REMEMBER! Honour thy mother and father. However, I understand these celebratory days are hard for many for many reasons.

Forgive and forget Dave.

The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naïve forgive and forget; the wise forgive but do not forget.

Forgive but do not forget, or you will be hurt again. Forgiving changes the perspectives. Forgetting loses the lesson.

There is an old expression that says "We don't choose our parents but blood is blood except when it comes to physical or verbal abuse"

Good for you to step out when you realized it was hurting you.

What's the difference between an Elephant and a Jew?

Eventually an Elephant WILL forget.
