Truth is, stuff like this happens to every hobbyist, and probably more often than many might suspect. Point of the post is that you can't let that stuff drag you down and spoil the game for you....and it's good for us all to be able to step back and laugh at ourselves once in a while. Helps us all keep perspective.

I hope you remember and appreciate that sentiment the next time some client roughs you up, or a competitor fucks with your business, or a loved one dies unexpectedly, or you pick up some nasty flu bug that has your head in the bowl for a week heaving your guts up non-stop.

You just march yourself right up to that bathroom mirror, look yourself in the eye, and tell yourself 'Karma follows us all, and we all get what we deserve. I deserve this.'

Keep repeating it to yourself as the swelling on your face goes down.
Keep repeating it to yourself while your cash flow takes a hit.
Keep repeating it to yourself at the funeral.
Keep repeating it to yourself while you stare at the puke floating inches from your nose.

You deserve it. You may not know exactly why, but it's karma biting you hard in the ass, and you definitely deserve it. <rolls eyes>
