Nice things you have done

Let's put a positive spin on things here in the lobby. A lot of us are unsung heros. We all do nice things that don't get noticed and go unrecognized. Here's your chance to toot your own horn and tell everyone else about something nice you have done. I'll go first.

The recent news about the TTC thing and the cops that will be in place reminded me of an incident when I was younger. I don't remember how old I was. Probably late teens early twenties. I was waiting for the Queen Street streetcar and when it came, it was packed. There was an old lady waiting with me and she had a shopping cart. I helped her get her cart onto the streetcar but then the car became so full that I had to get off. No one on the car saw what I did. The lady did thank me though and I ended up catching the next car.

A woman and her child were waiting at a bus stop. With all the snow and slush, a car sprayed her and her child with her bags of groceries. I stopped while the driver kept going (probably not realizing what he/she did). I asked if she and her child were okay. After clearing her face and cleaning up her child, she said she was ok. 4 ways go on and I get out of my truck and offer her a ride. She didn't want to at first but I said I had a child's seat in the car and her child would be safe. I grabbed her bags and put them in the back of my truck and drove her home.

I offered a lady that was hitchhiking a ride but she refused.

There goes my good deed of the year.

Made three different kinds of chocolate covered pretzels to give out to various people as a small Christmas gift. These are white chocolate & candy cane, I also made white chocolate reese, and cheesecake flavoured ones.

I was on a packed bus when a lady boarded and there were no seats left. Being a gentleman I offered her my seat. She refused.
After a while I noticed her skirt was stuck in her butt crack. I pulled it out for her.
She smacked me.
Smacked me even harder when I put it back in.

No good deed goes unpunished.
