Hof you are correct I have been banished and I always come back but I'm not Vikky or trudat for the matter . I am just an observer that is all. I enjoy Tboys post because he tells it like it is, right or wrong he speaks his mind. You also speak your mind but you tend to lecture people and ramble on which becomes rather annoying and please stop the name calling and innuendos, it is a bannable offense.
Bannings and locking threads is Mod99's MO. Amazing how some outspoken loud mouth WK's can shoot off their mouths and call all the other members idiots while others get banned for sneezing.

Rocky is ok, thank you, the lump is nothing dire. Vet agreed he could stand to lose a few lbs., but overall he's in good health. She said he does need a prostate exam :shock: but we agreed that after the microchip, vaccine and rectal thermometer (he objected rather strenuously, lol) he had had enough for one day, it can wait until we go back in three weeks for his booster shot.

I mean, wouldn't it have been much simpler to, ahem, just not take a ground floor apartment? Or does that make too much sense? I mean really, if you "feel" that vulnerable, wouldn't that have been the prudent thing to do?
Seriously, hell, you could probably buy a really nice 2500 sq ft home with an indoor pool for what you're paying in rent......in such a dangerous area I might add.....
I've never lived in an apartment or condo, but I've visited a lot of them. I come away thinking I'd prefer a ground floor unit just to avoid the elevators where you're often confined with creepy people for a few minutes. It would be easier to keep a dog or take my bike right into my unit as well.
Escaping a fire would be easier too, I'd have no problem giving up the view.
I wouldn't have a gun either, I'm glad it isn't so easy to get one and that it's seen as unusual to be armed with one in Canada. But I understand why some people have fears and need to protect themselves.

Honestly though auggie, don't you find it a little _______ (you fill in the blank) to feel so vulnerable you have to arm yourself with a lethal weapon, get rid of 2 pets you've had for years, get another just for a little convenience?
