This will sound like a very silly question but please keep in mind I have never really participated in the pay for play lifestyle. In an encounter who supplies the condom, the provider or the user? How does either side know the device is of a good quality and safe to use? The other question is scents, how do you go home and your spouse not smell the difference, be it a different soap or perfume?

I count on the lady to provide the hopefully good quality condoms. I don't need my wife to find a box of condoms in my night table or car.

I tend not to see ladies who use heavy fragrance, and my wife hasn't noticed anything different about the soap or bath products yet.

Good Morning Baz.

No silly questions Baz.

Everyone participates in this lifestyle Baz. Even you in a manner you've probably never considered participate in it. The price you pay for intimacy in YOUR relationship with your wife is what YOU do for her in your day to day life. That is the currency YOU have decided to pay.

It has been my experience that the provider supplies that raincoat. They control the situation for their own safety and yours. It is in their best interest to be safe for themselves and you. Having never seen a client before they meet them for the first time you can imagine that it would be hard to trust someone who brings their own "raincoat."

Typically the wrapper is opened in front of the client so that both can see that it's new and not tampered with. You have to trust the manufacturer and the escort at some point.

I'm pretty sure most guys shower before and after all encounters. I remember a post for a guy on another board who would stop off to get gas after an encounter and purposely spill gas on his hand so that he would carry the scent home and have to shower. Thereby giving his wife the excuse for the shower. Pretty drastic if you ask me.

I'd also like to add that escorts today DO NOT wear the same scents they did years ago. I remember when first seeing escorts that it was going to see strippers. They have very heavy body spray that would follow them like a cloud. Nowadays I think they are far more sensitive to the notion of discretion and will very light or now scents whatsoever other than that provided by a body wash.

There you go.

Fair questions. Usually the lady (if it is a lady) in question supplies them, but a good customer has their own just in case (and in case the supplied ones are suspect, but that opens up a whole new field of enquiry).

I never wear scents of any kind, so if I was with someone, they would be able to pick up the smell passed from someone else. Which is why (a) I always shower (and have been known to bring a no-scent body wash) and (b) don't cheat on someone if I am in a relationship.

I wear a different cologne everyday which solves any scent issues. I also still have my 1980's condom in my wallet. My wife knows about it and it's nostalgia, an antique but may come in handy one day.

Dayglo? Or tiedie?

Baz, don't forget that it costs you more being married than to play.

I worked out after my divorce that I could have had three SPs a week for 50 years instead of paying out the settlement.

Sigh....

Baz, based on your questions you must be contemplating dipping your toe, fingers and tongue into the pool??

You realize those things have expiry dates on them right?

I let the ladies supply the condoms although I have a preferred brand. Once I repeat a few times and we become comfortable with each other, I ask if we can use the preferred condoms that I bring. The very astute ladies will go that extra step and supply my preferred brand once she knows what I like.
