People who confuse "having a high sex drive" to "enjoying rough/hardcore/degrading sex"

I myself was one of those who thought that the two ideas are similar, and was the reason why I was confused about my own sexuality. I've always had a very high sex drive, but 90% of pornography disgusts me. In fact when I see hardcore porn such as "big cock" or "double penetration" or even just genitalia closeups the only motion I have in my body is my gut retching. But I love sex and I love masturbating; there are days where I can masturbate up to 4 times a day and still have enough energy to do daily activities.

In general, people with high sex drives will become desensitised to what they are exposed to repeatedly, meaning they tend to escalate into more hardcore as they go, I find anyway based on those I have discussed this with over the years.
Some don't, of course, but many do. It also seems to have a connection to sex addiction but again, it isn't necessarily across the board.
I have a HIGH sex drive but to some I am rather "vanilla" while to others I am one kinky woman. It is all very relative I suppose.

I would have to agree with this on a personal basis.

When porn started hitting the mainstream in the late 70's. I was living in Ottawa and used to go to Hull Quebec to to satisfy my curiosity.
