Intense Philippine Special Forces Helmet Cam video shows members of the Task Force Marawi conducting an intense urban combat rescue under ISIS fire during heavy clashes with ISIS in the battle of Marawi, Philippines.
This video pretty well shows a textbook rescue with no own casualties making effective use of smoke grenades, armored vehicles and cover fire.

It's sad to say but the US and CDN forces are involved with these kinds of missions everyday, and never seem to get noticed by the media or get the acknowledgement and praise they truly deserve by the folks back home!

No, not really. Not every mission is considered 'classified'. Most of the time, acts of valor which occur regularly in the line of duty are appropriated by media and are twisted to pander to the needs of politicians and top military brass. Rare that the average army infantry soldier gets public credit for actions that occur while on regular patrol or on combat missions overseas, mostly because the public are heavily influenced to believe the US is not actually at war at present, even though officially it is, on many fronts.
This is a political ploy more than anything, but it unfairly takes away credit where credit is due. Servicemen and women risk their lives every day in virtual anonymity, but rare are their sacrifices given the full visibility and recognition they deserve.
Walk through any VA hospital and you'll get a better understanding of what is actually going on today around the world, but deliberately held outside of our direct line of sight.

Missing Toronto firefighter found in California | Toronto Sun
A Toronto firefighter who went missing on a ski trip last week in New York State was found Tuesday in Sacramento, Calif.
Toronto Fire Capt. Constantinos “Danny” Filippidis, 49, was last seen Feb. 7 skiing with friends and family at Whiteface Mountain in upstate New York.
There is no information how he went missing or ended up in Sacramento.
“We are just relieved that he has been found. It’s a confusing situation, but we will have to let the local authorities (in Sacramento) deal with that,” Frank Ramaganona, spokesman for the Toronto Fire Fighters Association, said Tuesday.
“All I know is he was found in a confused and dazed condition and is receiving medical attention. His family is happy and flying down to meet him,” said Ramaganona, who was one of the local volunteers who travelled to Whiteface to help in the search.
“I saw the pain in his kids eyes when we were there. There were over 100 local volunteers who went to help,” said Ramaganona, adding he isn’t aware of any connection Filippidus has to California.
“No matter the outcome, it doesn’t take away from all the work the volunteers did.”
Toronto Fire Chief Matthew Pegg sent out a tweet Tuesday, confirming the search for Filippidis was over.
“We are all very relieved to know he is safe, following what has been an exhausted search operation. Although details are limited at this time, we are advised he is in the care of the police in Sacramento,” Pegg tweeted.
“As this is now an ongoing investigation, I am unable to provide further comment.”
