Viagara side effects

I really like what Viagra does for me...at 67, I'm now enjoying a better sex life than I did 10 years ago. And Viagra helps me get and maintain a good hard erection.

But today, I had a new side effect. I popped my usual 100 mg tab about 1/2 hour ago, and as usual on an empty stomach.
I'm planning on a visit to a certain someone for sex.

Right now my eyes are blood shot. It look like I'm hungover. My eyes feel a bit scratchy, and I have the other typical Viagara side effects... flushed cheeks and a slightly lowered blood pressure.

I don't mind the bloodshot eyes, because I know as soon as I pop, the effects will be gone.

But, I have heard that Viagra can be hard on one's eyes. I already suffer from an eye condition called Druzen, which restricts my peripheral vision some what. Could the Druzen be caused by the Viagra? Or will Viagra make it worse?

I just had my eyes tested last month, and the Druzen is no worse, no better. So I assume the Viagra is not a factor, but if any of you guys know, I'd be glad to hear from you... here or by PM.

And, if any of you guys use Viagra, have you ever had that side effect of bloodshot eyes?

I used to have the runs, blurry eyesight, runny eyes and heartburn. It all stopped when I broke it in half to 50 mg. Trust me they both give you hard hard-ons and I can still do it again 4 to 5 hours later.

Taking half sound like a good idea.

As for my doctor, that's an option, but I don't trust him much...

I'll continue to do my own research...

As for right now, my life essence is depleted, the flush is gone from my face and my eyes are clear. I am a happy guy.

I'd offer you a review, but she's a civilian who, for some strange reason, has given me FWB contact. So, once a week or so, we make each other happy.

Great advice to only take half and congrats on the civvie bang!

This is a well-known side effect of, basically, a bit of an overdose. It will go away if you stop taking the pill for a few days.

To avoid this, work on smaller doses and see if the erections come easily but the side effects don't manifest. 100mg is a high dose. Try half a pill and see if you still have difficulty with erection. If you do, try 3/4 of a pill. And don't take every day, just when needed. And if you need every day, damn you're good!

If you still get the same side effects at half a pill (50mg) doses every 24 hours max, then do stop taking for a few days before trying again. If that doesn't solve the issue, see you GP. The solution may be an alternative ED pill, although I personally prefer Viagra to Cialis.

Note that if you are taking ANY other drugs, prescription or not, there may be interactions with that drug. If you're on prescriptions, see your GP or PM me before taking more Viagra.

I tried Cialis a couple of years ago, but it doesn't meet my needs. I only have sex once a week or so... so maintaining a steady level of Cialis in my system just doesn't make sense.

With Viagra, I take it 20-30 minutes before I'm gonna have sex and everything works just fine. I AM going to try a half dose at 50 mg as has been suggested.

I also find it works best if I take it on an empty stomach.

Yes and no. Just stay away from heavy meats and starch an hour before and 50 mg should be more than enough for you.

Viagra 'added to Chinese alcohol'

Distillers in China added Viagra to thousands of bottles of spirits and told customers it had "health-preserving qualities", food safety officials say.

More than 5,300 bottles of alcohol were seized by the investigators in the southern city of Liuzhou.

They also found packets of a white powder called Sildenafil, better known as the anti-impotence drug Viagra.

Police in the Guangxi region are now investigating the two distillers.

The Liuzhou Food and Drug Administration said (in Chinese) that the powder was added to three different types of 'baijiu' - a strong, clear spirit that is the most popular drink in China.

They said the haul was worth up to 700,000 yuan (£72,000; $113,000).
