Some members here think I have a penchant for violence. It was a way of life for me in the past, much like your Goodfellas reference, mine was more like Sons of Anarchy but we had dealing with the "Fellas". Physical altercation for me is my last resort, although, walking away should be my last resort, but pride has a way of deterring that. I'm getting too old for this shit anyway.

My son (17), basically said the same thing a while ago. I told him the same and want him to learn from my stories, not live by them. He's read some of my memoirs and can't put them down (400+ pgs). It's hard for a teen to not think "It's cool how you did xyz..." and he tells his friends about some of the stories. Apparently, I have a fan club at his school. I've taught him to be respectful to all sexes but not to be walked on. He's a gentle and thoughtful kid and he's got killer looks which makes him a target for a lot of teenage girls. He'll make a fine young man.
