Saw my first episode of Desperate Housewives...

Wasn't funny. Wasn't sexy. None of the characters were likeable.

It was written like an afternoon soap opera, but with a prime-time sheen. Even had the backing soundtrack, like a soap.

Can someone tell me why this show's so popular?​

I watched maybe, 3 episodes up (I'll give any new series a chance) until I saw Teri Hatcher's character get locked out of her house naked.....then she got locked out again.

This is what is known as "jumping the shark" and they did it on the 4th episode....people are just too...umm inane to realize it.....
