Namely, why are people placing the signs in high-traffic areas? Donna wonders: Shouldn't we be encouraging deer to cross the road in low-traffic areas rather than on highways? They tried something like that with Deer in Western Canada. They fenced the highway along routes that they recognized as being crossing areas of deer and caribou, and built tunnels under the highway for them to pass.
What they didn't account for was the intelligence of carnivores who basically parked themselves on the OPPOSITE side of the passage waiting for an easy meal.

yeah, she's for real....a buddy at work told us about his wife and talking about Uneven Road....she said one day while he was driving: why do they call all these roads the same name? he said What? SHe said: This is like the 5th road we've gone on called Uneven Road....I mean, why can't they name it something like "Stephenso Road" or Highway 15? lol......she thought the uneven road sign was the NAME of the road, not the fact that it was a warning that it wasn't that well maintained lol.......fuuuuck we laughed our asses off.......(and yeah, we have a lot of Uneven Roads up here lol)
