Went back as far as page 30 and gave up...with no search it is next to impossible to find an old thread. Anyway...pretty sure BR has seen her, ad on CL is here, though it will die soon. She has bounced around I think from Michele's, ALO and even CMJ. Anyway we trade some texts today and she gives me her info (rates, loc, all reasonable but downtown and i am out in the East end today...), then she goes on to tell me she will start working at a new private members club. I ask her if BC and she replies "no, a club with much classier women"...so I am playing along and ask "CMJ??? Not sure I would define that as classier", and she say no, it is not open yet, but there will be a new private members club downtown, Bank and Gladstone (a bit off the beaten path, har har) and it will be a "real VIP place". She said the name will ne Harmony or something like that. Anyone heard this rumour? For now she is still hosting indy in that area for 90 / 160...I might see her next week.

In this city there are very few that could be classified as "really" classy, and if so then their rates are really high. Classy is very subjective anyway, and may be nothing more than hype right now. There's some condos around that intersection and some small businesses along Gladstone toward Hulse and Playfair. This private club concept seems to be catching on, in part to circumvent some by-laws. Not sure how much business there is to go around when it gets over saturated. Aside from that, I've never heard of this Sheila girl, unless she used another name.

Yeah, if I did write her up here, it might have been under a Michelle's thread. I originally saw her at Michelle's, and then within a week she was at ALO, under mysterious circumstances. I also seem to recall her working at that place near Scott street, Lyndale Ave, I believe. I didn't see her at Lyndale, as I had already been burned by that place earlier, I think it might have been either mmad or Skinflute that saw her at Lyndale and didn't have a good time.
I found her interesting briefly, but my interest didn't last. There was no growth in services from her that I could tell. And the fact that she bounces around from place to place, indicates that she has some issues with management. Girls that have these issues might be trouble.
As for another club starting up, I don't know if you can call Liz/Jaz a visionary, just because she started this concept years ago. She had to start it simply because she shot herself in the foot, by playing too smart with the other spa owners. She tried to throw them under the bus, and she found herself with tire tracks too.

I thought Liz's battles with the other spas started after she moved to Merivale and began CMJ. Wouldn't surprise me tho as she is never one to back down from a good cat fight.
Remember when she moved here she was studying law? Just reminded me that her and Ally were both "law school students". That's pretty much where similarities end IMO. I know Jas has rubbed some folks the wrong way but I never had problems with her. And she did intro me to Suri for which I will always be grateful LOL

When Jas first came to Ottawa, she hyped it up nicely in the Ottawa section of terb. She was working with a friend (Kayla) from S. Ontario. Jas started out here by doing a 'meet and greet' at the Bare Fax. That's right....you had to meet her first and she would decide if you were worthy enough to be a client. Typical Lizzie. Jas had a huge fight with Kayle and that was t for that friendship. They fought it out on a thread on terb which I knew would be deleted, so I copied and pasted it into a file which is on an old PC. Maybe a rainy day project to find it and post it here! :biggrin2: Shelia does sound familiar.
My meet and greet with Jas was at a restaurant a couple blocks from her Walkley Rd location. As usual I was likely a bit behind the 8 ball in meeting her. If she isn't asian I am likely lagging LOL. These days I am even lagging with asians. I seem to remember something about Kayla, didn't Jas accuse her of stealing from her?
Slurp you must have done the meet and greet with her at the same place I did. It was a restaurant in a plaza on Alta Vista at Bank. She had just started working here on her own. I don't remember that Kayle girl though. I know what you mean about lack of Asians lately, but in this hobby it's feast or famine.

Yeah it did start after she moved to Merivale, but it wasn't due to her moving to Merivale that the fights began. It began a bit before that, when it turned out that she was trying to throw the rest of them under the bus, by testifying in front of the city committee. She already had her new place in Merivale already picked out, and she was getting ready to upgrade her Jasmine & Friends business location to this new place. Then the city committee opportunity came up and she probably figured that she would try to stab some people in the back and make her new business location even more exclusive. When it turned out that she herself would not get any license from it, I think a lot of people felt it was some poetic justice, because she just paid a large sum of money to obtain her new place and now she was likely out of business too. So she eventually came up with the club idea to bypass the city licensing.slurp said:

By the time Jas started all that I was shifting towards escorts and wasn't aware of a lot of that. I know there were some threads on Terb at the time but didn't follow closely. Penny is one I miss a lot, again wasn't aware Jas had something to do with her. Everytime Penny resurfaces briefly I can never seem to get to see her. Penny is one of my ATF.
